Rockville Science Day

Rockville Science Day is the biggest STEM festival in Montgomery County, and after 35 years they've got the formula dialed in. Over 120 exhibitors set up across Montgomery College's Rockville campus with hands-on activities that actually get kids excited about science. We're talking building and launching rockets, looking through telescopes, meeting live reptiles, exploring electric vehicles, tackling coding challenges, and running chemistry experiments. It's not a "look but don't touch" situation — kids get to build, break, mix, and launch things. About 4,000 people show up every year, but the campus is big enough that it never feels claustrophobic. Opening ceremonies at 1pm. Free parking. Free admission. Rain or shine.
