Santa, Hill Slides and Animals After Dark

If your kids loved Pumpkin Village at Leesburg Animal Park, Christmas Village is the winter version. It runs on 12 nights in December, from 6 to 9pm: December 4, 5, 6, 11, 12, 13, and then every night from the 18th to the 23rd. Tickets are $16.95 per person, and kids under 2 are free.

Santa is there for photos from 6:30 to 8:30, and the Grinch stops by on December 4, 11 and 18. The hill slides are lit up, there's a mini Christmas train, and you can pet and feed the animals in a barn full of lights. Pony rides are $3.95 extra.

When it gets cold there's a craft room and an indoor play zone, plus a bonfire outside (s'mores kits cost extra). It's a good choice for kids who would rather do something than walk past lights for an hour.
