Mosaic Halloween Spooktacular

Trick-or-Treat, Then a Movie on the Lawn

The Mosaic District turns Halloween night into a two-part plan. Starting at 4pm on Saturday, October 31, you walk the shops for trick-or-treating, and at 6 Hocus Pocus starts on the big screen in Strawberry Park. Bring a blanket, spread out the candy and settle in.

There's no ticket or RSVP. The district lists the participating shops on its event page, around 29 of them, so it's easy to plan a loop. If you have a toddler, trick-or-treating at shops is a nice way to do Halloween without walking a whole neighborhood in the dark.

Hocus Pocus is rated PG, with witches who want to steal kids' youth, so it can be a lot for preschoolers. With little ones I'd trick-or-treat at 4, grab an early dinner nearby and head home before the movie. Older kids will want to stay for the whole thing.

Parent Tips 💡

• ✓Think about the movie for little ones. Hocus Pocus is PG and has some scary parts.
