Falls Church Festival & Taste of Falls Church 2026
The Falls Church Festival turns 50 this year, and it still runs the same way it always has: one Saturday, one community center lawn, and most of the small city showing up. Saturday, September 19, 10am to 4pm, at 223 Little Falls Street. Admission is free. More than 90 booths fill the grounds, local crafters, small businesses, scout troops, civic groups handing out stickers, plus a stage with live music running most of the day and a beer garden for the grownups.
The draw for most families is the Taste of Falls Church. Local restaurants set up along one stretch and sell samples for Taste tickets, $3 apiece, one or two per item. You buy a strip of tickets and work your way down the row. It is a good format for picky eaters, since nobody is committed to a whole entree. Presale starts September 8 at the Community Center if you want to skip the ticket line on festival morning.

Parent Tips 💡
- Buy Taste tickets in presale: they go on sale September 8 at the Community Center, card or exact change. Buying ahead means you skip the longest line of the day.
- Go at 10am, not noon: the first hour is calm, the food lines are short, and the kids' activity tables still have all their supplies.
- Bring a wagon or stroller: the festival spreads across the lawn and the parking lot, and there is more walking than the map suggests.
- Split tickets across several stands: one or two tickets per item means a family of four can sample from six restaurants for the price of one sit-down lunch.
- Shade is limited on the lawn: hats and a water bottle each. There are water refill points near the Community Center doors.
- Park away from Little Falls Street: the closest blocks are residential and permit-restricted. Ten minutes of walking saves twenty of circling.
