A Pumpkin and a Bouquet with Every Ticket
Temple Hall Farm is a NOVA Parks working farm north of Leesburg, and every fall it runs a pumpkin patch and flower fields. Here's what I like about it: every paid ticket comes with a pumpkin and a bouquet you cut yourself, straight from the field. It's open every day from 9 to 5, and the last tickets are sold at 4.
This weekend, October 16 to 18, each day has something extra. On Friday from 1 to 4, a NOVA Parks naturalist runs Nature Detectives, a scavenger hunt for animal tracks and signs (kids stay with an adult). On Saturday from 1 to 4 and Sunday from 10 to 2, the naturalist sets up Critter Corner, free with admission. Saturday and Sunday also bring the pumpkin blasters, the Breezy Bites food truck and beer from Barnhouse Brewery. None of those are there on Friday.
The rest is classic farm stuff: wagon rides, two big jumping pillows, hill slides, a corn box, playhouses, a playground, yard games, a roping game and a small farm museum. The animals are a big part of the visit, with cows, goats, alpacas, sheep, pigs and chickens. One thing it doesn't have anymore is a corn maze. The pumpkin patch took its place.

Getting There 🗺️
Parent Tips 💡
- Bring a card. There are no online tickets, and the farm prefers cards at the gate.
- Go Friday to save $3 a person. You also get the Nature Detectives hunt from 1 to 4. You'll miss the blasters and the food truck, so pack snacks.
- Get there before 4. That's when the last tickets are sold, even though the farm stays open until 5.
- Check Park Alerts on rainy days. NOVA Parks posts weather closures there, and the patch has already closed for weather once this season.
- Leave the dog at home. No pets on the farm.
- Coming back? Paint a Pumpkin runs October 25 and 31 from 10 to 2, for $5.

$15 per person on weekends and $12 on weekdays, the same for kids and adults. Kids under 2 are free, but free entry doesn't include a pumpkin.
Is a pumpkin included with the ticket?
Yes. Every paid ticket includes a pumpkin and a bouquet you cut yourself in the flower field.
Can I buy Temple Hall Farm tickets online?
No. Tickets are sold only at the farm, and the farm prefers cards.
Does Temple Hall Farm still have a corn maze?
No. NOVA Parks replaced the corn maze with the pumpkin patch.
